- Is responsible for the planning of preventive measures of mental illness is the responsibility of psychiatric institutions and social, medical and scientific institutions specialized in this field. There is a responsibility and an integrated necessitate the need toparticipate in planning between all stakeholders for the benefit ofall.
- The prevention program must address the circumstances of the individual and the community and society, and should be differentaccording to the family member whom a father or mother orchildren .. etc., must be directed at the community level in the areas of education, employment, health ... etc., and at the level ofimportant events such as marriage, birth, retirement, etc. .., andat the level of potential disturbance to the individual or the family or in society.
- There is no doubt that society is intelligent, who will prepare the social climate and cultural heritage that facilitates proper growthof its members, groups and doing everything to ensure the prevention of mental illness.
Perhaps the citizens get used to a comprehensive psychological examination periodically for the prevention of disorders andmental illness and perhaps our schools begin to provide these essential services.
- This has been confirmed by recommendations of the first Egyptian Psychiatric Association, held in Cairo (March 1986) on the need to pay attention to the prevention of mental illness, and that includes attention to psychological aspects and rehabilitationin the media, schools and institutions work.
