Ukrainian Levkoy cat.. expressive sexual dimorphism

Ukrainian levkoy:
Ukrainian leukemia is a breeding breed of cats based on two natural mutations: hairlessness and eloquence: Hrbd and Fd.
This is a naked cat of medium size with a long flexible muscular body of rectangular shape, soft and hot to the touch, with folded skin.

Cats of this breed have a pronounced sexual dimorphism.
Levki are energetic, contact and friendly.

History:
Work on the breed began in 2000.
Sketches of the cat's appearance, breed determination and selection of genotypes that reflect the phenotype were made by felinologist Olena Vsevolodivna Biryukova (Ladacats kennel, Kyiv, Ukraine, ICFA RUI Rolandus Union International). The first Ukrainian Levko cat with the nickname Levkoy Primero, registered by the ICFA RUI Breeding Commission, was born on January 21, 2004.

In 2008, more than 200 cats of this breed were registered in various felinological organizations in Ukraine and Russia. Many of them are Ukrainian Levkas in the fourth generation. Several dozen cats already live outside the former Soviet Union.

Genetics:
To establish the first bloodline of Ukrainian Levko cats, the Scottish Fold (dominant ear mutation) and the Don sphinx (naked), the dominant natural gene for the hairlessness mutation Hrbd, responsible for hairlessness, were used.

Origin of the name:
Levkoy: cat ears resemble curved leaves of this plant.
